# Data Retention

Data passed to the Speechace API is the property of the API caller. We only process and retain the data to serve your request or subsequent support queries. By default we expire data after 90 days. With a contract set Data Retention Policy, you can choose a specific data retention period, including zero day retention. To request moving to an Enterprise contract with specific data retention needs please email <support@speechace.com>
