# Fluency scoring

{% hint style="info" %} **This feature is available as part of the Pro Plan.**
{% endhint %}

The Speechace API's fluency scoring can be used to determine how well a user speaks at length. The fluency scoring measures vital characteristics in human speech such as words correct per minute, good/bad pauses in speech and articulation rate. Furthermore, Speechace's fluency scoring combines these metrics with pronunciation score to product read-aloud equivalents of **IELTS****, ****CEFR****, ****PTE****, ****TOEFL** and **TOEIC** scores.

In the next section, we will review how a developer can level fluency scoring in reading longer passages.
